loved that program and the way they sat back to front to drive the 'spectrum pursuit vehicle'

I vomited a little after looking at these defender concepts..

Why can't land rover just add sound proofing, improve the turning circle and offer a supercharged V8 from the RR.

I would happily pay over 30k for that, everything else about the defender is perfect

Well I like it Thumbs Up

but then again I have a Jeep Wrangler and not a Defender so what do I know.

The 2 seater one is a bit pointless though - looks like a cross between a Suzuki x90 and a BMW x6

Defenders are a design classic... Instantly recognisable whatever the model, whatever the year. Like when the new mini came out, it still looked like a mini.... The Porsche 911, loads of variants, all instantly recognised as a 911.....
Why would tata screw up a design classic? Yes, it needed to be modernised to comply with new regs, I never liked not having an airbag. But there is modernising and there is designing a new car and just swapping the name over.... That mess is not a defender..... I.M.O. Previously..

Interesting looking vehicle - but certainly no Deafener. Shocked
