HELP - sat nav faulty!

Just discovered that my 2003 Vogue sat nav unit in the boot is faulty. The sat nav is not showing up on the menu screen. The garage says that it needs a new box but they cost £1000!. Any one know of any reconditioned boxes for sale? Thanks

There are loads of them on fleabay and the likes. Have a look around, prices much lower than 1000. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Search for MKIV upgrade - or go to Mattstevensons site (member). If the unit is DOA it is a great time to do the upgrade to DVD maps for only a little more (search for a reputable ebay seller). And sell the old unit on the bay. Dead nav's don't go for terribly much, but more than what the garbage man will give you. Razz

Just be sure it really is the nav before throwing out money.
