They may not have the crease but they are not designed for earlier cars as they had a totally different shape to them, these would simply not fit.
I've got mine and fitted them, I like them. Certainly WAY better than the chrome tatt.
There are options for those who want to change them:
1. Slice the bottom half off to look like newer ones
2. Use automotive styling tape to put the line on artificially. I am playing with this to see the look, but think they clean look is nicer.
3. Spray the bottom half in satin black
I bet the next model with have fully colour coded wing mirrors (like almost every other car on the road) and then these won't look odd at all! Discovery 4 HSE
