2012 RRS Key Fob

Does anyone know if the new 2012 key fob can be programable to my 2011 full size? I just saw it for the first time at my dealer and I love the new size and the weight of the new one compared to the brick of a fob on my 11 RR and LR4. Has anyone done this or knows if this is possible?
