Ah, bedtime socks for the RR Rolling with laughter wouldn't want to let her get cold feet now.

It says the snow sticks to the fabric, does that mean you'll end up with giant snowballs as wheels ? Laughing

No KP - I actually have a set of proper chains for the Coop somewhere, although I'd hate to use them, I think they damage the alloys too easily. In any case, the Coop is now in hibernation under it's nice warm cover until the weather perks up!!

i need these for a trip to the Alps in March, and although I'm quite sure the L322 will cope just fine, particularly since I have M&S tyres fitted, you do occaionally get stopped by the gendarmes who insist on you fitting chains otherwise they won't let you continue up the mountain. I know this is true and not urban myth as I've been driving to the Alps for about 15 years now and have seen it/experienced it myself. However, now that Snow Socks are an authorised alternative to chains, not to mention a lot cheaper, I'll go for those instead. reminds me - I'll call Dan now!

Would they let you past if you have studded tyres like a rally car Very Happy

I'd love to see their faces if Carlos Sainz or Seb Loeb came up and popped a set out the back and asked if it was OK Laughing Laughing
