My Rangie:

A couple of pics taken yesterday on one of the back roads near me out and about to go look at a house at the end of the road. Its a love to hate relationship ... I really like it - great to drive ( although I think I liked the drive of my 4.0 P38 a tiny bit better Confused ) , but parts of it do my head in at the same time in terms of maintenance.

Its a 02 plate 4.4 V8 on LPG and has done about 100k miles.

Dont be expecting any of those shiny shiny polished pictures from me !

Very nice, what tyres do you have on in the pics. They look quite chunky. FFRR TD6 HSE

Tyres are Cooper Zeon LTZ 275/55 R20. No major mods needed. Just a single screw to hold a bit of a wheel well out of the way, and to trim a couple of pieces of excess plastic which serve no purpose.

There is a thread about them here: http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic8339.html V8 or else ...

Greg,

Doing well. As Ogy said in the linked thread, after a while they seem to be settling down and getting a bit quieter.

Really notice the extra size in the tyre ... especially on roads like the pictures ... just soaks up so much more of the little bumps and softens the larger ones. Much smoother ride. I do notice the extra size ... it dulls the performance ( acceleration and handling ) but overall, very pleased.

A flip side is that they dont throw as much water forward up over the bonnet when crashing through puddles, the larger chunks seem to step through the water better. V8 or else ...
