Yet another fault...

Yesterday whilst driving with my missus in the car we were accompanied by a very loud beep. Whilst driving we had the radio on and sat nav was supposed to be guiding me. I have attached an audio clip which hopefully will let you hear what it sounds like. You will also hear the constant and very loud noise of my window wiper!!!

The above link should play the clip!

If not, try http://www65.zippyshare.com/v/19838698/file.html

If you have problems playing then Realplayer worked for me.

Beeps can mean many things and nothing...
Can't open this audio file.
I had a beep from time to time in my new MY12! seemend to be a bag I put on the passenger seat and whilst driving hitting some bumps on the road it activated the load sensor for the seat belt. Laughing
Oh yes, the wiper noise, is it when it comes to its upper position, on the turning point against the A-post?
Discussed many times, check the angle of the wiperarm towards the front screen! Easy fix, can't believe it still mentionned as a problem Rolling Eyes RR 2012MY TDV8 AB ipanema sand

Hi,

I have open successfully played your file and I don't recognise the sound, as it's not something my FF has produced. Does it sound like it came from the same place as the front parking sensor beeper?

Your wipers can be silenced by adjusting the wiper angle, as posted above try the search Smile

Cheers

It does, but it's a very different beep to the one in in the recording.

Australia 2008 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Rimini Red

I have heard many beeps and bongs in a RR and none sounded anything like that I don't think anything fitted as standard to a Full fat can make that particular noise . So now you might have to go looking for something separate and of course its cold and dark out side now Crying or Very sad good luck. 2008 MY Supercharged

Hey guys

This 'beep' is almost unbearable to have to hear as it is so loud. If you can hear the radio in the background, that was at a normal listening volume. So, bear in mind how loud the beep is in contrast!!!

I think, and I may be wrong, but whilst this was happening the sat nav was not verbally directing me. I think it sounded like the 'beep' was coming from the speakers. As a result I think it was something to do with the sat nav/radio!

I know whats going to happen when I take it in ' Sorry Mr Green, we can't find anything wrong with it'. I have emailed the dealer I bought it from to add it to the list of problems i've had with it since I bought it a month ago!!

Axle, unless there is something hidden somewhere, the car is completely standard. That should save me having to venture out in the cold and dark! Lol!
