No central locking or electric windows

Hi folks.
I've just had the passenger side door mirror off (2002 TD6). When i put the door card back on, no power to mirror, electric window doesn't work and the central locking on this door doesn't work.
Is it just one of the plugs that i havn't clipped back on properly? Possibly the largest black one, does this supply power to the various functions of the door?
Also, is there an online manual somewhere, i'd like t find out what all the various plugs actually do.

many thanks.

Muffster.

Hello again folks. I've been trying to suss out this problem, now got the window working but the central locking does not work only on this door. It worked perfectly before i had the card off and i havn't done anything with the lock mechansim. All fuses are ok.
It appears that there is no power to the central locking motor but i can't tell why. Could it be coincedental that the motor has packed in or have i done something wrong.
There is no power to the mirror either.
Any offers on this please.

Many thanks.

Muffster

Sounds like a problem with the part of the loom that feeds that area. Did you possibly pinch some cables when you were working on that part of your car, or alternatively a connector has worked loose somewhere along the loom. Sounds too much of a coincidence to me. No longer FF owner but still interested. Present car Jaguar XE

Thanks for the speedy response.
When i look at it again i will try the plug which goes to the motor.
Am i right in assuming i shoud get a 12volt pulse at the plug to operate the motor when i lock the car with the key?
Will also try a battery re-connection.

Cheers.

Thanks for the reply. I tried disconnecting the battery and giving it a good charge. I thought that disconnecting it for a while might reset all of the ECU's. Unfortunately it hasn't, and the faults are still there despite having a fully charged battery. 2005 FFRR Td6 Vogue

Hi mate.
My problem was with the connectors.
Despite the fact that i had checked them 3 times previously, on the last attempt the electrics came back into life.
i can only assume it was a poor connection.

Thanks for the tip - it turned out to be the white connector on the switch pack (C2058) which is the one that connects to the BCU and the central locking motors. Even though the connector was latched shut, it wasn't inserted into the socket all the way. All sorted now! 2005 FFRR Td6 Vogue
