Number Plate bulbs

My wife has just text me to say that a warning light has come on to 'check the Number plate bulbs'
Is there such a thing and is it as simple as buying a couple of bulbs??

just something silly but have you checked if the bulbs work ? just put your lights ok, check if both dont work or one does, change if need be, if they are both not working it might be a loose wire etc.

TBH the RR's just act nuts in the winter, they dont like low temps and start acting crazy and become ok later on.

sure others will be round soon to offer advise.

Yip, they sit in the lower part of the upper tailgate, either side of the button you press to release the latch and lift the tailgate up.

replacement procedure should be in the hand book or they may simply have a screw at each side for release.

I'm not at home and won't be back until after dark. I was not aware that there was a warning for them not working. I think the part number is CZQ000010 and they seem common enoguh.
As usual there is no answer to any of the phones so I can't ask her to check Regards

Yes there is a warning on them. Mine came on when I changed them to the led type.. They were on, but the error came up. Reformed

I had a bulb in an old defender bulb kit I had kicking around so have changed it (althought I have ordered an L322 bulb kit from Dan as well)
Piece of pi$$ changing it though. Not even screwed in... 2 second job. Regards

its easy to replace, the lense just pops out by using a small screwdriver of similar blunt tool and you then have access to the bulb. 1 min job then clip lense back in. Range rover td6 54 reg touch screen

You may as well replace them with the LEDs. There was a thread on them a few weeks back.
