Alarm 07 vogue tdv8

Hi all,
How long should the screen stay on after locking car and could this be the cause for my alarm to keep going off if it is taking to long.also what is the red light on the front of the dash under the windscreen suppose to do ?

Screen can take 5 mins or so to go off.

It wont make your alarm go off. Is there a window open or a fly inside? Discovery 4 HSE

Haha, alarm going off randomly when the car is locked...? Search this forum for "Bonnet switch", seems to be implicated in almost all cases.

If however yours goes off when you unlock the car it may be the body tilt sensor / batter sounder. Graham
