SRS warning light : Battery Disconnect Unit 1

Hi,

Just back from a long journey and on the road home got the SRS warning light on again.

In the past, had it twice, once cleared by a dealer a year ago, and then got the GAP II tool to clear it again (I recommend it) a month ago.

Battery voltage is 13.7 when driving (I get the information from the dash), and only one year old.

On the highway home cleared it again, then it came back after 10 minutes of driving, plugged in the II tool, that gave me the following error code "B-Battery Disconnect Unit 1".

Can't find any subjects on this, dose any one know what unit 1 is? Seems X5and L322 has problems with pre tensioners or passenger detection thinggy.

Cheers,

If it is the same as in the V8 engine, it's the positive cable that is connected the battery. I had to replace mine. It was a simple 15 job. The information is in Rave.
