Light error message when they are working

Just been out in the car, and suddenly I got the check sidelight/tail lights error come up, along with a fast flashing indicator.

Pull over to check, all lights are working, allthough the indicator is flashing quickly. It seems to clear itself, then start telling me to check when they are working.

It has worked fine up until now, and they are normal bulbs.

Cant see anything obvious as to why it bongs and asks to check lights and then work ok again?

Anyone had this? Reformed

Checked all that and they are all tight Shocked

Ive noticed with the indicaters they flash normal without the lights on, but with the lights on they flash fast, and they are all dry as well so I cant blame the rain?

Could it be undervoltage glitches?

I do sometimes get the HDC error on startup, so I am thinking my battery? Reformed

Well its started raining again now, so I have left my fiddling!

Hopefully if its dry in the morning, I will pop to eurocarparts, get a new battery, then change that and clean the earths at the same time, see what that does.

I have no idea how old the battery is, it was in there when I got it. Reformed

Well the new battery is all fitted, (that is a tight fit!!!) but the indicators still flashes quickly on both sides Big Cry

When the lights are off they work normal but with the lights on they blink normal, then fast.

All the lights are working as they should.

I am wondering should I leave it and put it down to damp/wet as we have had a bit of rain recently (allthough I checked for water in the rear compartments/spare wheel and lights, all is dry except some slight condensation in the drivers side light unit - the passenger side is a new unit).

EDIT- All sorted Thumbs Up Reformed
