12v Live socket when car is asleep

Tried a search and ended up with conflicting info... so:

Can someone confirm which if any of the 12V power sockets (aka "cig lighters") remain live when the car is off and asleep? There are I think 5 in all:

1 in ashtray
1 in centre cubby box
2 in rear console
1 in boot

It's a 2007 TDV8

Mine works in the boot. I keep my solar recharger plugged in there. Started the car after having left it sat for 4 weeks, started first time so it must work!

Out of all of them i think the most likely will be the boot one as i know for my TD6 the others turn off after a minutes as i usually have a phone connected to one or the other charging and drawing upto 750ma.

In the newer FFRRs, 2007 may be included, none of the sockets remain live when the vehicle is asleep to prevent battery drain.

Right, just done a test. I can now confirm that in the 2007 TDV8 that I have, the boot 12V socket remains live after the car is locked and has gone to sleep. Left it about 20 minutes and was still live. Graham
