I'd either keep the current one OR order one of the last run of the current shape - but go Autobiography and the lot....

maybe.

Agree with you Tom, probably getting a late MY2012 one when my current one will be 3 years old and running out of warranty!

It was clear we had to say goodbye to a square frontdesign due to new pedestrianfriendly guidelines but that looks nasty from the side Sad Daniel

Not really liking the curved front end much at this rate ... If it stays like that it'll end up looking like every other 4x4 curvy boring box out there. The squarish front end is really a design feature of LR/RR imho. V8 or else ...

The more I see what they are doing to our beloved Range Rover the more I think they are messing it up.
Which brings me back to this Top Gear article about the current and next Range Rover.

I think the camoflage is making you think that but I believe it is a little less steep. If I wasn't on a Mac, I'd see if I could edit the photo.

Anyone know a simple "paint" like program for the Mac? I have iphoto and Aperture but these are much too advannced to let you draw lines!

When you blow the picture up , this is as big as i can on here , (click twice) you can clearly see the panels that have pot rivets with extra panels added , at the back end and on the door … also the gap on the roof at the rear

if you blow the pic up on your own comp to about 2MB you will see them

A bit of an older spy shot, but it shows the grill behind being much more vertical:

Having just read the top gear article, is the Evoke a Tata design? If so, they've done a damn fine job imho...

The evoque I suppose is the first release from the Tata ownership ... but I remember reading a long time ago that Tata were very much of the opinion that Land Rover themselves were to have the directional control of where their design went.

that being said, imho , there is a considerable amount of similarity in the conceptual design styles of the Evoque and the Ford Kuga. I think it shows the Evoque has really been a child of the Ford family.

I think the L405 will move away from that link a bit more, but there will be some Ford-ness in it. V8 or else ...

Ahh good point... But if the Evoke is anything to go by then i very much look forward to the new FF... Do you think there was discussion like this about the 322 by the P38 forums???

Its all progression in my eyes...
