I am planning to attend the Geneva Motorshow again this year. Anyone else going?

What date are you going on Angel??

I am thinking of Friday 9th March, just trying to see if I can organise some meetings on the 8th so that my travel and hotel can be billed to the client

Failing that I will be on a £60 Easyjet flights which get me in and back to Liverpool Airport on the same day

No night out in Geneva then....

Gaz, was out in Geneva just before Christmas - a fantastic place but you need to sell a kidney to have a 'proper' night out.

Beer & food is expensive to say the least! Beers in Geneva cost CHF12 for 0.5 litre which is about £9, compared to Sinclairs Oyster bar in Manchester at less than £2 a pint!!

That said if people want a night out in Geneva as well there are plenty of hotels - book them now as they will be busy when the show is on. The motorshow is at the Palexplo Arena next to the airport and for a couple of Francs you can get the train into the city centre (train station is in-between the airport and arena). A couple of good hotels near to the Cornavin station and you can get good fondue down at Parc de Paquis on the lake.

We spent most of the summer in Switzerland (As is normally the case these days) so are fully up to date on the silly cost of most things nice. Trouble is is such a great place to be it always seems worth it to me.

Off to Saas Fe skiing in February so I guess I need to move a few Range Rovers....
