Am I the only one...

...who doesn't want and isn't interested in doing a facelift conversion to an early FFRR.

Yes I've changed my wheels, but only because I was given the wheels and tyres for free.

I think the early FFRRs look great as they are, why spoil perfection.

Maybe some day I will have the only original early FFRR left.

No you are not alone, I too am quite happy with my '02 looking like it does. To me it has not dated in the way other cars do, perhaps this will start when the L405 hits the streets? I even retro'd my wheels back to match the spare in the boot! Previous owner removed the HSE badge, so must put it back at some point.

For me, it can't be beaten as it is. .

+1. Like the original look. Not keen on some of the "updated" conversions.

47p2 I like both looks but do prefer the more modern front plus for how little I paid it was more than justified in my book
But as we have said before each to there own .....if we all had the same taste this would be a boring world Thumbs Up "RANGEISM WILL NOT BE TOLERATED"

I'm happy! A 2007 is a 2007 and it looks great, I have also upped the wheels and the previous owner did the side vents and grills (unless they were standard).

I would however like to get the bits in the interior that are plastic re-trimmed in leather - oops that would be just like a 2011 Autobiography whatever happened to a 2007 is a 2007 Rolling Eyes Geoff

I'll leave my 2002 alone, and wait until I buy a newer version for the upgrade. Smile

I love my 2005 as well, I just put an sc grille on but its a nightmare to clean mud from without jet washing and am thinking of LED rears at some point I they come up cheap and some retro 5spokes for mud plugging as much easier to clean Very Happy

Cheers googs, I have two mitts I wash with, old woollen first then microfiber last to get any missed bits off but I get the car caked almost every week Sad it looks more bournville than bonnatti before its washed Very Happy
Will give it a try next time, although I have it off at the minute to try and dry out my headlamp that's got condensation in it Big Cry

I think my 2002 TD6Vogue has perfect aesthetics.Clean, functional lines. In many respects I see a similarity with the RR. Classic- the ONLY Car ever to be put on exhibition at The Louvre in Paris. ( Not even their sensational then ,1968 model Citroen has had this honour.) 2002 Vogue TD6

Got to agree with 47p2, I did change the side repeaters to clear ones on my old one and the wheels were changed twice but that was because the new tyres came with later wheels.

I will be changing the side vents on the new one this weekend, same style but coloured coded and probably the door handles in the near future, again to colour coded.

Do they not have tyre fitting machines in Scotland then?

Surely newer wheels would " spoil perfection " would'nt they?

Can't fit 19" tyres onto 18" wheels unless I pack them out with duct tape Laughing Laughing
