Wiper Blades

What are the sizes for the windscreen wiper blades? I tried to find them in the local auto parts store and Range a Rovers were not in their book of sizes.

Is the whole wiper replaced or just the thin rubber insert?

Much thanks!

+1. Thumbs Up

Bosch 808, cost less than 20quid (15 quid or less if you shop around on the fleabay).

Reminds me I need to get a new set as one wiper is smearing and have started getting the annoying thud Evil or Very Mad from the wiper blades!

Me too. New Bosch blades in Jan. Thud, albeit not as bad as on originals, has returned. Is there a quality issue with new Bosch blades or is eBay the problem? Or is it the whole arm that is wearing? 2012 5.0L S/C

The thud also comes from the wiper blades not being in the correct plane North/South... undo the nut on the wiper arm and you will see an aluminium holder under the arm which allows the arm to tip forward and back... To stop the thud! Simples Thumbs Up

quote RRUK - Which one for the rear?

From the ECP website, I bought and fitted this 19" rear blade Adam, for £8.52 delivered. Very good quality:

" Bosch Rear Wiper Blade Retrofit Flat Wiper Blade Single Ar19U Part No.: 485778190 List Price £11.99"

I might of already mentioned this but I was surprised when I replaced my wipers with the Bosch 808 that I still had the annoying thud.

So then replaced the little clips ( from Dan ) that connect the wiper to the arm - problem solved Very Happy 2002 Vogue 4.4 V8

i think because the wiper itself is so heavy the 'working' bits like the pivots and clips because loose and cause the thudding..
