Set Door Mirrors to Fold on Lock

I have a friend who has a Disco and when he locks the car with the remote, the door mirrors fold in. I have a 2009 TDV8 Vogue and would like mine to do the same. I asked my dealer whether it could be done when I had it serviced recently, but they forgot to check. Can it be done? If so, is it easy?

IIRC its been talked about before where they can be done this way but it possibly disables the internal button from doing it... FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Wanted to get rid of the automatic folding mirrors when locking the car with Smart Key (can't really see the point especially when there's a button for manual operation next to the window switches.)
So visited dealer who did this via their software (not a customer option) and then noticed that this had disabled the button for manual operation as well !

Was told the choice is either all automatic or nothing at all.

They kindly offered to reverse the procedure only to find that they could get it to work as I wanted i.e. No auto folding on locking and Button on door working.
Result...............

Until today when I discovered the mirrors now fold in automatically on every 2nd locking (why??) and thankfully the button on door works as well.

I think I'll just scratch my head and give up.............

UPDATE: I can now use the button on the door to fold the mirrors, but I have to do this twice afterwards to then disable the "every 2nd time folding on locking" again.
It works for me but don't ask me why LR have designed it this way !

Good luck.
