X5 Forum?

I was just wondering if anyone knows which is the best forum for X5 talk / owners ... I'm looking for some info on them ... Not for me I might add! I've got a friend who wants one and I'm trying to convince her to see the light.

Thanks in advance!

Not sure you'll have much success convincing her. I think if you want an X5, you probably won't want a FFRR instead. I doubt if a forum would throw up any convincing reasons to change your mind, in terms of reliability I expect it would be the same (assuming we're talking pre-facelift).

Some people will just find the FFRR too big, or the wrong image for them! 2012 SDV8 Vogue SE

This may help her out as thats what they are fit for...

Rear wheel alignment is a very common problem from the ones i see on the road around here all the time, camber goes out and the inner edge of the rear tyres starts wearing.

Swirl flaps are a massive cause for concern(why LR deleted them from the FFRR engine!) as once they begin to go can cause huge damage and i've seen it on a 330d as well Sad

Theres also a video of Jonny from 5th gear reviewing one and IIRC his face when going over the common faults says it all.... FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Do you chaps not know; its blasphemy to talk about X5s on here; this site is especially for real 4x4s! (No, not Defenders, the other one)
