Is the TPMS Pre Wired?

I'd like to fit the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, the transmitters and receievers are relatively inexpensive, the ECU is going to be difficult to find.... but I think its all BMW gear anyway so shouldnt be too hard to find.

Does anyone know if the wires are hidden somewhere in the wheel arches? I've not seen them, but haven't looked yet to be honest. Also the ECU lives under the passenger seat, has anyone ever seen an unused multiplug under there?
