2003 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Adriatic Blue

TD6 Changing alternator belt, anything else?

As some of you will know, been having trouble with battery drain/non charging issues so going ot change the alternator belt for peace of mind (along with the FSR, even tho I had the upgrade done). Shall I do the air con drive belt while Im at it? And is it worth changing anything else while I'm laying under her?

The air-con belt has to be removed to allow access to the poly-v-belt so you are as well changing at the same time. Might be worth checking the tensioner pulley and idler pulleys while you are in there

Is it self explainatory how to get at it and do? Bit of a newbie with working on RR's. Better to get to them under the car, or from up top?

You are best with access from top and bottom.

Seems you don't need to remove the A/C belt to change the poly-v-belt according to this image Still worth changing at the same time though
