Hi All, have a similar problem on my 06 2.7 hse. Cold start takes one or two turns first thing fine for the rest of the day. Went into limp mode once. Garage could not find any faults. Now it is slightly rough on start up like it’s missing (until it’s warmed up) blue smoke also present on start up.

Any ideas?

My SC started doing this at the same time the alternator bearings have started whining. Possibly related?

As the original thread is 5 years old, does anyone know the best way to fix this? Possible without dealer intervention? I have IIDTool...

I have this for a cold day first start. Have to hold the throttle down a bit to keep it running (bit like the old carb engines). Wondering if the MAF is dirty. What doesn't kill you is just bidding it's time.
