enjoy!

Top tip, if you are leaving the RR at the airport make sure you have a set of jump leads in the car - it is highely likley that the battery will be flat when you get back...

don't ask how I know!

it is far easier getting a jump off a passing fellow traveller than waiting for either land rover assist or a breakdown truck.

Mick you are lucky - there are plenty of posts on here and other forums about battery discharge over a few days never mind weeks.

Better still buy a solar powered battery trickle charger and plug into the power socket in the rear boot space, put the solar panel next to the side glass.

Fully charged battery and ready to go every time.

I wont' say the obvious about Noddy and Swine flu.

But yes take care with the battery. Mine went flat, whilst giving it a good old clean one day. Had all the doors ets open, but had turned the interior lights off.

LR assist guy said it was the worst thing aout them, with all the electronics etc.

Well, I'm in the RAC so if there's any issues, they can sort it. I have left it for two weeks on the driveway before now and there were no issues.

By the way- it's 34 degrees here and it's great! There's a new strain of flu on it's way though, apparently. 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded
