They say pricing will start at around £65,000, but the current model is £70K plus new, should we believe this or do you think the SDV6 3.0 engine will go in as the cheapest model?

They always bump up the price of the outgoing models as they've added loads of stuff and extras onto them. It's normal. Discovery 4 HSE

It would be logical for them to stick the SDV6 in the base model. You'd still get decent performance seeing the L405 is supposed to be significantly lighter than the current model.

It also helps them comply with EU rules coming in 2015 that, on average, all cars in the fleet should emit 150g/km or less
