Aurrian, if you plan keeping your FFRR for another few years then stick with the OE Thumbs Up

So that's £297 in total then?

Surely not - I can get non genuine versions of both elsewhere for £102 total - is there really such a difference?

need 2 x 500050 track rod ends and 2 x 500060 tie rods.

suppose better quality parts are safer, and last longer - suppose if they wear out - they will need replaced and therefore labour costs, hassle & etc.

I'll speak to my mechanic - see what he thinsk we should go for - i'd imagine he will not want to fit cheap parts....

thanks for all the advice
