I've started with the gummi stuff. I think the seals needs to be all well cleaned first and then a lot of it applied to work well, though i just applied it to the drivers seals after my off roading weekend so will do it properly if the temps start to drop again  FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
Mantec Sump Guard, Rigid Load liner, MY10 BT upgrade.

for the gummi stuff to condition the rubber properly ,you need to apply thoughout the year so the rubber stays supple.... ... - .- -.

this is what my stealer tells me.
FFRR was serviced one week before the doors iced up. they say "the silicon is applied to the door seals to keep the rubber soft, as an aid to prevent them from going hard and brittle, thus cracking."
they say the silicon helps...but it is not anti-freezing.

tbh, nothing is going to stop an iced up door if the conditions are right...a heavy rainy day followed by a very cold night will probably 'stick' most doors, and because the fullfat has double seals maybe its more susceptible. .. ... - .- -.
