Wasn't planning on using the car yesterday so thought I would take the opportunity to stick it on charge. Hooked up my CTEK MXS7.0 at 5pm on Monday evening and left to charge overnight. Checked it at 2pm on Tuesday and it was still bulk charging. Checked it this morning at 8am and it is now showing fully charged. I wasn't having any problems starting and locks all opened crisply so was surprised it took so long to fully charge. Is this normal or is this a sign the battery is on the way out. How can I tell if this is the original battery (it has a Land Rover logo on it). Do they have a date on them anywhere? 2006 4.4 V8 Vogue SE

According to my local battery specialist, to properly charge a flat/partially flat battery you need to leave it on charge for at least 48 hours using a minimum 6amp charger. That's what they told me!  Cheers
