Little bit far from you but CLH Trailers produce some very very good trailers. We bought a live-stock trailer for my mother and was about 3/4 of the price of the equivalent Ifor Williams and the build quality put the Ifors to shame. Couldn't see from a quick browse of their website a tri-axle but if you give Chris a call there they build a lot of trailers to customer specifications so I'm sure he'd be willing to build one and I wouldn't be surprised if he was cheaper than the competition - you'll certainly get a better trailer.

I've used them on numerous occasions for general metal work, some of the kit they have their is impressive to say the least. I know someone who bought one of their first tipping quad trailers and continually overloads it bending the hinge pin. The result - Chris thanked him for confirming it (it had been niggling him apparently) and provides free replacements for the chap because he feels the trailer should have been done right in the first place.

He also seems to have a lot of contacts in the haulage industry (one being a mutual friend) and consequently seems to be able to arrange for cheap delivery since they'll be travelling the country to do a pick-up and if they can make a few quid when the trailer's empty it's better than it would have been considering they would have made nothing.

i use a 16' triaxle graham edwards

tows like a dream, balances perfect and barely drags at al

as it runs on little wheels (GE use 10" rims and lower profile) the weight of the load is lowered so roll isnt as noticable,

Have a look at the indespension website as they have quite a few used trailers on there, and there may be a car trailer from time to time.

I got my 15' ish t/a general purpose trailer for £1k with sides and ramps. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
