Trying to help a mate with his electric window problem and wondered if anyone here had any thoughts.
Rear window does not work at all from button in the front at all. No power to motor in door for up or down. However can here a relay click when this button is operated. Window isolate button does work. In the back the button on the door puts the window down but not up.
The window is now stuck fully down. When you press down you hear the power going to the motor but with the window being down nothing further happens. When you push up button nothing happens to the window at all and no power to the motor.
I am inclined to think faulty switch but that doesnt explain the front switch not working in either manner.
So to re - cap. Front button for rear door does nothing to the motor but does activate relay somewhere, button on door with window in it works down but no power to motor to put it up. Any thoughts as to where I might start other than getting hold of the switch from the other door and seeing if that makes a difference.
