Are you connecting the iPod via the AUX socket of FM? FM is the weak spot of the EZI DAB. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black
Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey

I use mine via FM and only started getting crackling between and during tracks on an ipod this week, otherwise its been great. However I suspect its more to do with my amplifier suffering water ingress as I was getting the same crackle on CD and FM radio. Also yesterday while off-road I had no sound and my touch screen froze, then the orange light on the power button started flashing. When I stopped I unplugged my amplifier and i could clearly see corrosion on the pins. I am going to remove it today and clean it up see if that helps.

Have you tried any other frequencies? I also find that motorbikes going past cause interference, as can some french diesels! You are either at Le Mans or waiting for Le Mans
