Bosch S6 AGM

Current battery fitted to my 03 TD6 is a yuasa, don't know how long it's been on the car but it seems to be showing signs of failing.

Voltage drops to 12.0 if not used for a day or two and the indicator has gone black.

I should also mention that the voltage drops even when disonected from the car, so there is no parasitic current draw.

I can get a Bosch S6 AGM for a great price, but what are they like, has anyone got one?

AGM batteries are for stop start vehicles I believe. An S% is probably better value for you and will have the same amount of power to crank the car over. 06MY 4.4 V8 Autobiography Cairns Blue with Navy & Parchment Interior

Thank you Sir. I am hoping to fit 2 of these, one in the boot space with a split charge relay. Fitted in much the same way as Joe90 has fitted one.

I am hoping that this extra power source will help to take care of the power drain when the car is not used for a few days. leaving plenty of power in the main battery to crank the engine. I HOPE!!
