There is also a twitter noise on tick over is this a symptom of bad pcv ?

replaced the seal and looks like thats all it was. drove it 40 miles today and had a look under the bonnet on close inspection i could see the slightest bit of oil just right on the edge but i recon its just been a little left over from when i cleaned the area when replacing the seal.

worth checking these seals mines is the 4.4 ajv8 but i would imagine the 4.2 sc is the same. seemed to be much more common over on the jaguar forums. Range Rover Vogue 2006 4.4 AJV8 | Buckingham Blue | Parchment Leather | Supercharged Grill+Side Vents | CA02 HEY ( NOT 02 PLATE )
