Nice job Ziggy, do you do a lot of beach driving to get it all this rusty?

I would tend to insist on the exaust repaint, a rusty or dirty box is quite unpleasant on the L322 as it visually stands out a lot.

Semi high pressure wash, Scotch Brite rub, Hi temp or regular satin spray paint and off you go. Ditto for suspension wishbones, while you are at it... calipers... ho... I know I got carried away !!! Whistle

No cobber not yet this is the car we brought over from the UK so all the rust underneath is down to the salt the pommies throw on the road

We go up to stockton and Myall Lakes a fair bit driving on the beach but the motors always get a pressure wash underneath thanks to the local quarry as there trucks have to go over a power wash before they go out on the road

I only wish I had the patience to get mine looking as good as yours but now were back home its bloody hard to keep it clean when you through bales of hay and lucerne in the bac along with the goats and sheep
Maby I can convince the cook to clean it Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter if only

New owner here and over the last couple of days I've done the following;
New used front right air bag and code clear
Almost new front right and front left struts to replace the rubbish used one and a code clear
New old stock pretensioner and code clear - wiring at fault so that's to do
New set of mats today and new rear wiper motor
Rear hard load liner and water proof rear load cover
New drivers dude headlight glass
Dog gaurd
All in the last 3-4 days

Next plan is to relocate the mid to the glove box and source a double din unit as others have done, I've a bmw x5 one on the shelf waiting to go in

Left it where it sat as the battery is flat due to leaving the side lights on Big Cry

I helped change the alternator on my Discovery 1 V8 last summer. It was nice and easy to find right on top of the engine. When the FFRR needed a new one, I asked where it was. Shocked Shocked I didn't need time to consider and let the mechanic do it himself!

Replaced a defective side repeater, a cracked reflector, pulled out the Piano wood trim from the console for a nice polish with the Meguiar's DA polisher.
