Engine 'stuck' on starting up

Hi,

Just got out of the car after a short drive and on getting back in, when I turned the ignition to start it, the start up/ turning process started, the rev counter needle was fluctuating but the engine didn't fully fire up and then it basically got stuck and stayed at that point, repeatedly trying to fire up with the needle fluctuating and the ignition turning.

Switched all off and normal service resumed.

Electrical glitch or ?

ps.. Engine recently been fully out to repair a leaking ladder frame.

Thanks

Thumbs Up

New (ish) battery!

Order has since been restored without needing to do anything other than ignition off and try again Thumbs Up
