Rear bumper question

Do I need to remove the rear mud flaps in order to remove the rear bumper. Will the bumper just slide off with them still attached? (PDC issues!) Travelling around in circles again.

Hello Chris -
If your rear flaps were fitted correctly initially, then yes they have to be removed prior to the bumper . . .
Be warned - if the fixing screws are rusted they'll need cutting off to get the flaps off.
I'd leave the bumper for another day after the flaps are off to let yourself calm down - mine were a real PITA to get off !
Good luck . . . !
Paul

Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?

Thank you Paul. I will leave it for another day. I'm enduring Buxton rain here at the moment Very Happy Travelling around in circles again.

There will/should be 10mm headed screws (one top, one middle) remove these and the flap should remain connected to the bumper by a nut & bolt through the side! (this does not need removing sir) VERY easy to remove Thumbs Up

I think TugRR is getting confused with the front mud flaps which have posidrive screws that rust in place! Bow down

^^ . . . No confusion, Craig - they were a pig to remove; grinder required !
