HSE and the android head unit

Hi guys, I'm not there yet but I will be tomorrow night! The HSE I have doesn't seem to have anything in the rear left cubby box, does this mean I have no amp and the head unit should just be a plug and play unit?

So for the noob questions but I just wanted to double check
