Bluetooth no sound

Hi Everyone, yet another problem, only had the car 3 weeks.

After reading many posts on the nokia Bluetooth system on my `54 plate HSE, I have finally been able to connect my phone to the Bluetooth using 2121 pairing code. Phone connects, display shows dialing, can dial from phone or touch screen, steering wheel buttons also work in conjunction with phone, screen says Bluetooth connected, the number I am calling even rings, but alas, no sound from the internal speakers and no sound from the phone just called. It seems like every thing is on mute.

Any advise to what I am doing wrong please Big Cry

Hi , got the same problem as you. The bluetooth needs updating, not very techno minded but the iid tool with bluetooth will flash the module or it's a more up to date module, so I believe.
Loads of info on here and brill advise, try a search, sure there's plenty of reading.

Hi gregdav

Thanks for your reply, I have read my little eyes dry, found lots of great tips but at the moment nothing worked. I am still searching with hope to finding the answer. Do not really want to go the parrot system when there is a perfect in car system, although can not get it working.

How did you access your Bluetooth? where did you get your pairing code? Have you got a nokia module and ULF?

If you have an older phone, i.e. from the era of the car, try that - at least you will then know the Bluetooth is working in the vehicle Smile Land Rover Addict

Hi, rb. As above, my contract on my smart phone ends soon so I may look for the older nokia type phone as I only use it for calls and texts anyway. The bay of e is a good place to start. Plenty about for 30 or so quid.
