Quentin Wilson comes across as a Smug slimy c$#t and Jody Kidd as a sycophantic bimbo……. 1963 Jag E-Type (JK - Oh.. Quentin, you've got one of those….. ) and the late Range Rover Vogue –’93 – ’94 (JK – Oh.. Quentin, I bet you've got one of those in your stable as well………. QW… Of course I have)

And of course the adverts in the middle are all about his warranties……

Disappointing…. Could have been a better show…. Regards
Mark

Jodie Kidd is nice to watch , she's always been into cars... She has done the Mille Miglia a few times I believe .

QW aside . I quite like the show , it's at least trying to be different to top gear and fifth gear?
Enjoy the "future classic" section, Not that most of us need QW pointing out cars that we have missed the boat on 😜 Alcohol and eBay is never a good mix

I watched it and really enjoyed the RR article.

Unlike the awful Mustang feature he did on the first show, this one was full of passion and some interesting detail across all models. Some good period clips were used, too.

For those who've not seen it, it's well worth looking up. Si. <This is my name.

Just to finish my rant off........ Will Best..... WTF is he presenting a car themed show for? So he goes racing at Crystal Palace, he phones up his uncle and asks if he can borrow one of his cars to race in... and then states he's going to need some practice as he doesn't own a car and hasn't driven a car in years as he lives in central London....

I don't get it... At least the other two are interested in motoring... Alex Riley's seems to know his stuff as well... Regards
Mark

Will Best with that Midget and admitting he'd not driven for ages and couldn't remember how a manual 'box H-pattern worked!!!! Shocked Utter nob!

But he seemed to redeem himself in the time trials a little.

Alex Riley - not sure on him just yet. The passion's there but a decent 928 for 'under £5,000'... Not a terribly good one, I'd wager. Count Quentula was spouting the same thing years ago on old TG. Si. <This is my name.

Well I never said the presenters were top notch. I like them both, but not in this show - the bouncing off each other doesn't work for me either. It's all too wooden. Nice to see more old school type car features though.

New series of Fifth Gear starts on history channel next Thursday eve.......

You must watch the start of it Craig, by far the best bit Very Happy

I'm actually in the drivers brief at Crystal Palace and can be seen on screen....briefly! I've added this to my claim to fame alongside my appearance on Top Gear Smile
