cartridge for CD stacker

Good morning, i am chasing a cartridge for the CD stacker, there seem to be different players fitted to the L322, some are BMW and some are Alpine, without pulling mine out is there anyway of telling which i have? My car is a 2003. And where can i get a cartridge for less than the price of a new car Rolling with laughter

Clarion... Same changer as a D2 in your car sir... Thumbs Up

Headunit/screen is made by Alpine under licence to LR if that helps clear it up?

Thank you very much, Clarion it is then, that should make it a bit easier to find a cartridge. I was getting a bit hot under the coller thinking about dismantling the dash just to find out what was in there. Thanks again Bow down

i bought a spare magazine at a car boot sale here in UK, and its from a Mercedes. it fits and plays fine, so, I would widen your search for a 'clarion cd magazine', known as 'green eject button type' and use these pictures to compare. land rover one on top etc. search here on ebay and get it posted over?

I keep mine for easy switching from my stuff to more sensible family stuff etc.

further to posts above, I looked closely at my (2002 model) cd magazine, and its made by alpine. its moulded into the text on the base. I searched ebay, and they appear to look both the same. ie clarion and alpine. look at one like the pics above. I believe they both have the 'green eject button' but I would use the picture above, as other models have white tabs on the side to release and other are curved etc.

Thank you for the information Johnboy, yes it does seem to be a mixed up topic, i am sure i will also find a Chinese model, brand names don,t seem to mean anything anymore, anyway thanks for the headsup.
