Brake Lights permanently on when parked - Update!

Did a search but couldn't find anything similar, brake lights have suddenly, this evening, illuminated themselves. Started the car (2nd cough) and all normal, let it run for half an hour, turned off and brake lights come back on.

Its done very little mileage in the last few months but started OK, all be it a tad lazily. Not sure if any relevance but has snowed quite heavily here the last 2 days.

Any pointers chaps Thumbs Up

May well not be but they do do some nutty things if the battery is not quite there

Mine did that when I drowned it in Wales, was water somewhere, actually it was water everywhere!!!

They went off after I had dried everything out....

See if it's wet under the passenger seat as I think it was the BCM.... Pete

Thanks Craig

UPDATE - Around 3am (thanks) alarm went off. Went out to find windscreen wipers on as well, opened car to turn alarm and wipers off and key wouldn't turn in ignition, brake lights still on. Left it resigned to flat battery and investigation this morning.

Out this morning and started first click with no ill wills apparent!! Only difference is I turned her last night to point downhill as usual.
