Not sure about this but would the halogen only headlights ie non bi-xenon have headlight washers?
If not they would still need the grey blanking plate as the headlight lenses are the same. The blanking plate wouldn't need the hole for the washer spindle so could be fitted in lieu of the blanking plate for the bi-xenons.
As I say I'm not sure about this, no doubt someone with halogen headlights could enlighten us.

You could always ask Dan about the availability of such blanking plates.

If solid blanking plates are not available the alternative would be to remove the plates from the car, cut off the extended collar round the spindle hole, fill the spindle holes with plastic filler, sand off the front face until smooth and then respray in Brunel grey paint. Not a difficult job to achieve a good result.

I have seen early SE's and HSE's with Halogen lights and they definitely didn't have wipers so the plates existed , just a case of seeing if they still do . Dan is you man on this one Thumbs Up 2008 MY Supercharged

Thanks chaps, ill give Dan a shout, as you say, my other alternative is to use the plates i have but fill the holes and re-paint them, its so i can fit a grill that looks like a face lifted one, i just hate to see it when people fit these and move the wipers around on the spindle to miss the grill, id just rather not have them there in the first place. Semper in merda sumus, solum altum variat !!

Car will only fail an MOT if the washers are fitted. If the washers are not fitted, they can't be tested and cannot therefore fail.
