How to interpret a build sheet?

6 pages of codes and descriptions so is there an easy way to work out what were the optional extras please?

Thanks

Does it matter what was optional? Surely just what it actually has.

Best place to find out the 'options' is to get an old brochure from ebay, as that will tell you what your car had as standard and what were available as optional extras. You can then compare it against the build sheet to see what your car has over standard. You can use the owners handbook, as all the optional stuff is marked with an asterisk, but that only shows what wasn't fitted on all cars. An SE has far less on it as standard than a Vogue.

The build sheet just shows everything that was put on the car
