I put one of those in the fuse box. It leads to an in line cigar lighter socket with the power supply for the dash cam plugged into it. It makes it very easy to change from a switched live to a permanent one when ever you like.

England 2011 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Santorini Black

Can also work as evidence if you get a issued an illegal parking ticket. My Blackvue footage (while parked) got a ticket cancelled in Westminster after I proved I was not given the 20 minutes unloading time on a single yellow line allowed in the borough.

The dodgy wardens claimed they waited 20 minutes and had asked around, but started writing the ticket after 30 seconds of watching me leave the vehicle with the delivery..... My video evidence proved they were talking out of their ar*e. Tom
