For a week or two I have had a ticking noise. I originally thought I had a stone stuck in the tyre tread as that is what it sounds like.

I have poked around underneath to see if any thing is loose but no joy. Recently had a CV joint gaitor come loose but that os now repacked with grease and secure, so not that.

Now wondering if it is anything mechanical. Only audible when moving.

Ticking is usually associated with a CV joint, if it wasn't secure for even a short time grit can get inside and damage it, jack it up and check for play.... Pete

They are a bit of a faff to do, you also need a special puller to get the drive shaft back through the hub, you can DIY it but it's not as easy as a lot of cars.... Pete
