Volvo navigation DVD in Range Rover

A friend with a Freelander 2 used a 2010-2011 Volvo Navigation DVD (DENSO part nr. 464110-8200) in his car and he says that after a 10 minute update the system worked flawlessly with added functionality and better maps. He says the Land Rover logo is still there and I was wondering if we could also use that DVD for an upgrade?

The Freelander was developed in conjunction with Volvo using many shared components, possibly including the sat nav.

The RR as far as i'm aware doesn;t share any Volvo parts. Mainly BMW and Jag
