United Kingdom 2003 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 V8 Epsom Green
[sold] 2003 (53) Range Rover 4.4 v8 Autobiography

I am selling my 2003 (53) Range Rover 4.4 v8 Autobiography with 2006 facelift lights and grilles.

I must confess, I have OCD on pretty much everything so believe me, this is a very good example for those wishing to get into the FF league at a reasonable price.

This vehicle is a little unusual as the original owner had a small silver Hippo added to the bonnet in the centre near the front windscreen.

I am selling simply because my circumstances have changed and I need a more economical car now my commute is somewhat further.

Around town, this will return ~ 15 MPG, on a run ~ 23MPG.

It is in Epsom Green and has covered just over 106,000 miles, excellent condition, silky smooth gearbox and engine, everything works except for one thing;

* Rear Washer jet (it works but it comes down the inside of the window due to split washer so I don't use it). There is a simple fix for this on the forum but I have yet to do it.

4 new tyres fitted and have done ~ 5,000 miles only.

The bodywork and interior are in excellent condition, a slight amount of rust has just started in the one corner of the right of the tailgate (common problem with these vehicles as we all know) but nothing has come through the paint as yet so looks fine.

I have owned it since November 2014 (only put 3,000 miles on her) have had;

All wheels powder coated and baked so they are immaculate
New rear wiper arm and blade
Replaced front wiper blades
Fitted a new driver side door lock cable after original perished
Had the rear tailgate seal replaced (slight leak in the boot but now all sorted)
Fitted a brand new centre (passenger side) pop-up cup holder as the original would not stay shut
Fitted front Land Rover mud guards to match the rear ones. The previous owner had side steps and had them removed, hence removing the front mud guards.
Had a brand new water pump fitted, plus auxiliary belt and aircon belt
Had both rocker cover gaskets replaced due to an oil leak
Had new front brake pads fitted along with a service on the pop-up headlamp washer jets (new MOT regulations now)
Extensively serviced and maintained by a LandRover Independent Specialist (Bournemouth LandRover)
Air conditioning service and re-gas

I would be looking for £7,495 and I believe this is a fair price.

- MOT expires 4th September 2016 (went through the test on 28th August and had to have new front brake pads fitted plus warning wire replaced and the pop-up headlamp washer jets re-calibrated)
- Tax expires 1st December 2015

Service-wise;

10th October 2003 - Inspection Service
10th January 2005 - A (14440)
27th April 2006 - Inspection 2 (20861)
30th October 2007 - Oil service (30953)
19th January 2009 - Inspection 2 (46710)
29th January 2010 - B (58003)
10th September 2010 - A (64686)
10th November 2011 - Inspection 1 (79336)
***** Note the service that was completed in July 2013 was not stamped in the service book but have all paperwork (mileage was 92117)
10th December 2014 - B (103432)

Some of the things done on this vehicle ... I have a folder full of receipts and paperwork so can't list them all here;

28th August 2015 - MOT new front brake pads plus sensor wire, unblocked and adjusted headlamp washer jets
28th July 2015 - New water pump, seal, auxiliary belt and air con belt, radiator clips, anti-freeze etc
22nd April 2015 - Full air conditioning service and re-gas (leak tested)
12th March 2015 - 2 x rocker cover gaskets replaced
9th January 2015 - Rear wiper arm and blade replaced
23rd December 2014 - Rear tailgate seal replaced
16th December 2014 - All 4 alloy wheels stripped and powder baked, balanced and re-fitted
15th December 2014 - Fitted new front Land Rover mudflaps to match the rear ones
10th December 2014 - B service completed by Land Rover independent specialist (BLR) - sidelight bulbs replaced
5th December 2014 - Fitted new front wiper blade set
5th September 2014 - New keyfob batteries fitted
30th July 2013 - Service + new rear brake discs and pads fitted
2nd October 2012 - New compressor air suspension fitted
4th May 2012 - Replaced o/s and n/s suspension bushes and o/s/f and n/s/f track control arm suspension joints
