Help!!! inactive EAS 05 Vogue

Before I start!! Love my car!! 😃

I have a 2005 vogue with with dreaded inactive EAS warning light, also self level inactive etc - I have replaced the ECU and also replaced two front air bags. The car has completely lowered itself on all four corners and we are unable to raise the car back up to standard height. It almost like the EAS is asleep , there is no lights on at the rocker switch inside for selecting the ride height. We have tried all the usual items, lock to lock, battery reset etc

Any one any ideas, car has been off the road 8 weeks!! I want my car back!!!

Any ideas welcome

Yes fuses, relates etc all checked, it's like the EAS is asleep

Yes pump is operating / was told if you can force air into the system it should start to come alive but we can't get air into it!

Have you tried bye-passing the compressor relay?
Have you tried putting 12V directly to the compressor?

No I haven't , never thought of that - that will eliminate any problems that end 👍 I'll try anything now

If there are no lights on the EAS switch then its a hard fault that needs checking and clearing with a diagnostic tool before it will work again.

as weejock says, clear the hard faults first .

My mechanic did try to connect it to the computer but it picked up everything but the EAS - is this a landrover job?

im sure this has been checked, BUT, have you reslammed all the doors, bonnet, and tailgates etc. these need to be all shut, (doors at least) for it to even 'get out of bed'

but 12v to pump sounds a good start to me.

if the pump is worn out, it runs for a long period, -if its not at a sufficient height, it times out, and stops, (to save iteself) and 'eas inactive' or something is displayed. then it may leak down to bump stops. and be horrendous to drive.
yes to fuse checking too.
if you know its the pump, it will be a new one from £300 (part price), or a repair to the pump seal was possible a year or so back, with a diy kit for about £25. dont bank on a secondhand one being any better than your original one. these pumps i think are made by a company called Wabco. you get a great big unit, and the pump is inside (a sound dampening tin) looks like a turtle asleep in the spare wheel well, or in another position, if car is LPG.
