Im not saying its the right one for your car sir... You asked what it looked like so you could check wiring faults... That was the first one listed Thumbs Up And at least you now know what yours looks like now, to check connections Thumbs Up

Scotland 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Barolo Black

Hi All,

I have established a pattern. If I unlock the car and get in within say a minute and Start the TV always works. If I unlock and leave it say 5 mins before I get in the TV doesn't work.

Has anyone else noticed this? Or am I the only person stupid enough to leave a SCFF unlocked and unattended for that long?

I found with the IID tool you have 3 options for TV modules, Analogue, Hybrid and Digital only. I replaced my Analogue unit with a Hybrid module, it seemed to work without changing the mode with IID, by switching to Hybrid i got the channel names show up rather than just numbered 1 to what ever. But it seemed to take for ever to sort it's self out and actually show anything.

I've now switched it to digital only mode, it seems to tune in much more quickly. Presumably because it's not bothering to scan the analogue frequency hunting for stations every time i switch it on only the digital spectrum.

It might be worth checking the setting, to see if it helps. Obviously yours is a later car than mine so it might be digital only by default.

Tv reception

Tv can be a nightmare to get a signal . At home car sometimes tv works other times nothing you need to be in a strong signal area , parked cars can lose you signal . Like you I can have good picture switch off leave car come back later no signal go up street perfect signal . Would suggest you park where you get a strong signal & all channels & try switching off & on see how it works then .
