| L322 gearbox - recomendations for garage please | |
Having had "Transmission Overheat" message I've had the fluid changed and cooler \ rad checked.
Anyway, the mechanic has come back saying problem not cured and it's time for gearbox out & strip. Quote for that is £1700. 
A quick google finds several places offering RR recon gearboxes delivered or car collected & fitted - some with warranties e.g.

which at £1100 with 1yr warranty is considerably better.
So my question to you guys is do any of you have any recommendations for gearbox specialists - ideally nr Manchester, or failing that, who would collect car?
