iPod/Bluetooth Streaming

Having spent it seems like days looking through the forum for a solution (touchscreen, no rse), a couple of post referenced this http://www.carcommunications.co.uk/car-acc...over-2004, but the link does not go anyway, does anyone know what it was ?
Thx

There is no reason why you couldn't use the antenna connection type in a range rover, however, the radiohead unit is in the boot Shocked , so you'll need a long lead Sad

Failing that you will need the Land Rover aux input adapter, that sits on top of the CD changer in the glove box. I believe that it is made by Dension, but a, I'm not 100% about that, and b, I'm not sure if they are still making them. Basically you are not going to find it easy to do what you want other than the factory option, as it is a fiber optic system not wires, good luck Thumbs Up Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Thanks that's what I have read, given the large number of range rovers/sports/discos, you would have thought this would be an opportunity for a box of tricks that could integrate, guess its mp3s on CD and no Spotify for me Big Cry

The trouble is that the aux interface will only work with the Range Rover and Discoveries and no other, I have such a device in my ffrr, but it is an earlier non touch screen Vogue, which have the BMW system and that is common to all the BMW range including the Mini, so we are talking a much wider application base.

The face lift ffrr is a victim of it's own success, by improving the BMW system with a custom Ford unit, L/R have engineered out the competition and guaranteed an exclusive market, Censored 's Evil or Very Mad

You might be better off replacing the hole system with an Android head unit or similar, will do a whole lot more for a whole lot less dosh that a L/R interface Thumbs Up
